Friendship is holy.

We believe our purpose in the community is to foster new and lasting relationships whether that means offering our physical space for community events like Stroudfest, hosting concerts that bring community members together, or making sure no one sits alone on a Sunday morning.

We believe relationships are key to ending systems of injustice, building better communities, meeting individual needs, and living out God’s indiscriminate love for all people. We aren’t perfect, but that means you don’t have to be either. We have a desire to facilitate authentic relationships whether those relationships flourish in our congregation or in the community at large.

If you have a community event and need a safe facility, please contact our office at stbgpres@ptd.net.
If you need a friend, consider worshipping with us on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. or join us for Coffee and Camaraderie every Wednesday. (Details below.)

COFFEE & CAMARADERIE

No matter who you are or what you believe, friendships make the world a better place.

Even though we’re constantly connected through social media, we still feel isolated and alone, especially since Covid. Maybe you’ve just moved to the area and don’t know anyone. Maybe you’re retired and have time on your hands. Maybe you’re a stay-at-home parent who is in the fog of diapers, Cocomelon, and endless snacks. Maybe the pandemic made it harder than ever to keep up relationships even with people you like, and now, you don’t know where to begin.

Join us every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm for a time to have a hot drink and enjoy laughing and getting to know one another in a low-pressure environment. Everyone remembers their “first time coming.” You will be welcomed and included.

No RSVP necessary. Check the website home page at times of bad weather or before/after close holidays.
