Interfaith Thanksgiving Gathering
Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
First Presbyterian Church, 575 Main St., Stroudsburg
Join neighbors from across Monroe County for the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Gathering, hosted by the Pocono Interfaith Council. People of all ages and faith traditions are welcome for an evening of music, reflection and community, centered on what binds us together as neighbors.
Leaders and representatives from diverse faith traditions will share stories, readings and traditions, alongside vocal and instrumental music. Through these offerings, we will explore the many ways our communities express gratitude, care for one another and work toward the common good.
Last year’s gathering featured harp music, poetry, a Readers Theater weaving together reflections from multiple faith traditions, and shared blessings offered by participating faith leaders. More than 200 people filled the sanctuary, making it the largest gathering in the event’s five-year history. The evening offered a reminder that our differences can enrich us, our shared values can unite us, and gratitude is especially meaningful when it brings us together and inspires us to act on behalf of others.
Whether you come with a faith community, a friend or on your own, you are invited to take part in this welcoming community tradition.
