Advent Sermon Series and Documentary Series
I BELIEVE EVEN WHEN
Sermon series beginning Sunday, November 30 at 10:00 a.m.
Documentary series Mondays, December 1 - 22 at 12:00 p.m.
The inspiration for this series comes from Mark A. Miller’s beautiful choral anthem, “I Believe.” The lyrics of the song are taken from a poem that was found written on a wall during World War II, believed to be written by a Jewish person in hiding:
I believe in the sun even when it’s not shining.
I believe in love even when I don’t feel it.
I believe in God even when He is silent.
Each Sunday we will focus on the power of God’s love and healing, even when it is hard to see. To complement the series, you are invited to a series of four documentary films about people who chose to act on their hope in the midst of darkness. Bring your lunch and join us at 12:30 each Monday in our Fellowship Hall (downstairs). Water and coffee will be provided.
