Based on the book A Wisdom Way of Knowing by Cynthia Bourgeault, this class, led by Rev. Tillie Chase, will give attendees the opportunity to explore wisdom as a practice of Spiritual Formation. This objective will be accomplished by experiencing seven disciplines that are used in Spiritual Formation including Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, Scared Chanting and Movement, and Walking a Labyrinth. In each case we will be given the opportunity to discover how each of these disciplines can open our hearts to the Divine in each of us. Join us Sunday, September 22, 2019; meet in Fellowship Hall. We will come together following worship to share a meal together and then spend about an hour and a half learning about a different practice each month. The class will meet on the fourth Sunday of each month allowing each of us time to experience the practices and come to the next session prepared to reflect on what we have learned about the previous practice and to learn a new one.
